The aluminum-alloy body houses an analog radio, two top LEDs with a dedicated lighting control, and a folding metal crank. Its red carrying cord also serves as the antenna, distinguishing this compact metal format from radios with a telescopic aerial.

The rear crank has a flat metal arm and cylindrical grip. It folds against the enclosure for carrying and provides a manual charging route for the internal battery.

Tuning and volume wheels sit on one narrow side of the housing. The opposite side has separate ignition, lighting and power controls, with the band selector beside the rear crank.

Tuning and volume wheels are grouped along the narrow side, with the band selector beside the rear crank. The lighting control operates the two top LEDs independently of these radio adjustments.
